Patta Gobhi Mattar is a great combination of Indian cabbage and green peas. An everyday bhaji or sabzi recipe, best to serve either as a side dish with dal and rice, or as a main dish with roti or naan.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups cabbage chopped
- 1 cup fresh or frozen green peas
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 small tomatoes chopped
- 3-4 green chillies chopped
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp dried mango powder
- 3/4 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
How to make Indian Cabbage and Peas:
- Heat the oil in a kadai / pan.
- Add green chillies along with onion.
- Fry till the onions golden brown.
- Now add cabbage along with chopped tomatoes.
- Adjust the sabzi with salt and spices.
- Cook the cabbage for 2-3 minutes and then add green peas.
- Cook uncovered on low flame for few minutes until the water evaporates.
- When the cabbage and peas are done, remove from the flame and serve hot with Indian chapatis.
