A great combination of boiled mixed vegetables and wholesome Punjab-De-Flavors, te Patiala Da taste, altogether are here in my Mixed Vegetables-Patiala Style Recipe. I have used green peas, french beans, carrots, cauliflower and potatoes. You can add your favorite vegetables and get the taste of your choice. Simply enjoy it with rice, roti or naan.

Ingredients :
- 2 cups boiled mixed vegetables (cauliflower, beans, green peas, carrot, potatoes)
- 2 green chillies finely chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper (diced)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 2 tbsp ghee
- Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- Salt to taste
How to make Mixed Vegetables-Patiala Style :
- Melt the ghee in a big frying pan and saute the chopped onion.
- After few seconds, add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies.
- Saute for few more seconds.
- Cook till the onions turns soft.
- Now add the boiled vegetables, bell pepper, milk, sugar, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and cinnamon powder.
- Dilute the cornflour in 1 cup of water and add into the mixture.
- Cook for 3 to 4 minutes over moderate heat.
- Finally garnish the dish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
Chef Tip:
- Serve this delicious Punjabi dish with butter naan or roti / chapati.
- I have made it medium thick gravy dish. If you want thin gravy then add little more water.
