Veggie Cheese Dosa is the combination of various healthy vegetables and lots of cheese. A simple dosa is just stuffed with the mixture of vegetables and turned into delicious veggie cheese dosa.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups dosa batter
- 2 cups grated processed cheese
- 1-1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 cup carrot (peeled and finely chopped)
- 1 large-sized onion finely chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh cabbage chopped
- 4-5 french beans finely chopped
- 4 green chillies chopped/sliced
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves finely chopped
- Chaat masala to sprinkle
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
How to make Veggie Cheese Dosa:
- Heat a non-stick pan and add 2 tbsp of oil.
- When the oil is hot enough, add ginger, garlic paste along with chopped green chillies.
- Saute for few seconds over medium high flame.
- Add finely chopped onion by stirring continuously.
- Fry till the onion turns to golden brown.
- Add all the chopped vegetables and adjust with the salt.
- Saute for 4-5 minutes until veggies tenders.
- Mix the cooked veggies with the dosa batter.
- Heat a non-stick tava and drizzle some drops of water.
- Wipe off with clean kitchen napkin.
- Pour a full ladle of the batter with veggies on hot tava.
- Lower the flame and let dosa to cook on low flame for few minutes.
- Sprinkle lots of grated processed cheese over the dosa when it is still on hot tava.
- Cover the dosa with a deep shaped lid or with the lid of an idli steamer.
- When dosa is cooked properly, remove the lid and serve hot with sambar and coconut chutney.
- Kids would love to have this dosa with tomato ketchup.
