Chandan Ka Sharbat is a refreshing drink made with an extra-ordinary fragrant of sandalwood and its essence. The name of the drink is quite strange, but it is one of the most famous and special Indian drink and highly served specially during festivals.

Ingredients:
- 100 gm sandalwood (chandan ka chura)
- sandalwood (chandan) essence
- 1 tsp potassium meta bi sulphate
- 4 big glasses water
- 4 cups sugar
- 3/4 tsp orange food color
- A pinch of salt
How to make Chandan Ka Sharbat :
- Soak the chandan in water for 8-10 hours.
- Pass through the sieve and keep aside.
- Boil it by adding sugar in it.
- Boil till one sugar syrup strand.
- Let the sharbat cool and then add color, essence and potassium meta bi sulphate.
- Fill it in an air tight bottle and enjoy with chilled water.
