Ingredients:
- 200 gm chickai supari
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
- 6 tbsp poppy seeds (khuskhus)
- 15 green cardamoms (crushed)
- 1 cup fennel seeds (saunf)
- 200 gm bhardi supari
- 1 cup coconut scraped
- 2 tbsp pot masala
- 10 cloves
- 4 tbsp vegetable fat (ghee)
How to make Masala Supari :
- Heat a big frying pan and separately roast coconut, cardamoms, poppy seeds, cloves and fennel seeds for few seconds.
- Cool down and then mix the roasted poppy seeds, cloves, fennel seeds and cardamoms.
- Grind into a smooth powder.
- Break the supari into coarse pieces and keep aside
- Melt the ghee and stir fry the supari till golden brown.
- Take off and mix with the rest of the ingredients.
- Cool and serve.
