Parsi Dal is a delicious Indian Daal recipe, cooked with Split Red Lentil (Masoor Dal), garlic and spices.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup Split Red Lentil (Masoor Dal)
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- 2-3 green chillies finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 4-5 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp clarified butter (ghee)
- Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- Salt to taste
How to make Parsi Daal:
- Pressure cook dal with some salt and turmeric powder until cooked.
- Remove from the flame and mash it properly.
- Melt the ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds.
- Allow the seeds to splutter and then add green chillies along with minced garlic.
- Saute for few seconds and mix the cooked dal.
- Add salt and spices and pour the water as per your desired consistency of dal.
- Cook only for 3-4 more minutes and garnish with lots of chopped coriander.
- Serve this Parsi Dal hot with Indian roti or butter naan.
