Mustard Sauce is the flavorful combination of mustard seeds, mustard oil and butter. This is a yummy sauce and commonly used for making various types of sandwiches, burgers and toasts.

Servings: 1 small jar/container
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp mustard oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 2 tbsp castor sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder/paprika
- 4 tbsp vinegar
- 1-1/2 cup water
How to make Mustard Sauce:
- Melt the butter in a non-stick pan and stir the flour until browned.
- Add water, mustard oil, seeds and salt.
- Mix very well and cook on medium high flame until thickens.
- After 4-5 minutes, add remaining ingredients and stir for few more seconds.
- Leave the sauce for few minutes to cool and then fill in the air tight container/jar.
Chef Tips:
- If you like spicy sauces, then you may add thinly chopped green chillies while cooking.
- This sauce is a great accompaniment with snacks, also can be used for making toasts and sandwiches.
